Though toxic under specific conditions, this little beauty is being studied by the medical community for it's potential health benefits. I'd say this is a good beginner houseplant. It's easily propagated by placing a cut node in a vial of water and left in partial sun.
They eventually grow little white flowers after about 15 years of being planted.
